4. Don't blindly increase the size of the wheel rim for the sake of aesthetics or performance
But some vehicle owners believe that the larger the wheel rim, the wider the tire, the better, but this is not the case. The main reasons are as follows:
(1) If the diameter of the wheel rim is too large, it will cause an increase in torque, which will increase the load on the transmission shaft when it rotates, and weaken the vehicle's starting and accelerating power.
(2) The use of large wheel rims requires the use of tires with low flatness, as the friction contact area with the ground increases and the frictional force increases, resulting in increased fuel consumption.
