1. Define Your Requirements
Basic Specifications:
- Tire Size: The rim must be fully compatible with the selected tire model.
- Wheel Assembly Dimensions: Connection type between rim and wheel disc, number and diameter of bolt holes - all dimensions must precisely match the wheel disc and hub.
- Machine Model and Load Capacity: The vehicle's model and tonnage determine the appropriate rim material and thickness.
Working Environment:
- Mining Operations: Emphasis on impact resistance and wear resistance. Rim edges can be reinforced, and high-strength steel is recommended.
- Muddy or Wet Conditions: Focus on corrosion protection. Hot-dip galvanizing or powder coating is required for surface treatment.
- High-Temperature Environments: Heat-resistant materials should be selected to prevent deformation or softening under extreme temperatures.
2. Performance Testing

- Dimensional accuracy testing

3. Trial and Final Acceptance
Trial Assembly:
- Ensure smooth tire mounting.
- Check for zero clearance in bolt connections between the rim and wheel disc.
- Install the assembled wheel on the vehicle and conduct a 100–200-hour operational test under real working conditions. Observe for deformation, abnormal noise, or leakage.
- Once the trial run shows no issues, a final acceptance agreement can be signed.
