Cleaning and installation of rims and hubs
Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces of the rim and hub before installation, removing impurities such as oil, rust and dust. Ensure that they are in close contact with each other, so as to avoid installation deviation or uneven local force due to impurities.
Correct alignment: place the rim smoothly on the hub, align the bolt holes, ensure that the centre of the rim is coaxial with the centre of the hub, and avoid damage to the parts caused by forced installation.

Installation requirements of bolts and nuts
Selection of bolts: Use the original matching or compliant bolts and nuts to ensure that their strength level matches the load-bearing requirements of the rim, and prohibit the use of bolts that are worn, deformed or with damaged threads.
Installation sequence: Tighten the bolts evenly in 2-3 times according to the order of diagonal intersection, to avoid deformation of the rim or damage to the hub due to uneven stress.

Tightening torque: Use a torque spanner to tighten the bolts in accordance with the torque values specified by the manufacturer. The tightening torque varies for different rim sizes and should be consulted in the technical manual. Too little torque may cause the bolts to loosen, too much may damage the threads or the rim.

Points for mounting tyres
If the rim is with tyres, when installing the tyres, pay attention to the direction of rotation of the tyres to ensure that it is the same as the direction of travel of the crane. Also check whether the tyre valve is correctly positioned to avoid interference with other parts.
After mounting, check the tyre air pressure again to ensure that it meets the specified value.
